Parking information
Parking at ANU is difficult. Parking is much simpler at the Botanic Gardens but does require a bit of a walk.
To park at ANU you will need an ANU permit, or use the CellOPark app at Pay-as-you-go sites, such as the lot behind Ursula College, or this lot off Ward Rd (may be ANU staff & students only) or this lot on Sullivans Creek Rd. However, these often do not have any available spaces.
There are disabled spaces in various ANU carparks, where anyone with a disabled sticker may park. However, these are frequently already occupied.
To park at the Botanic Gardens (recommended):
Proceed to the Botanic Gardens car park, and park on the right hand side from the entrance road, down the bottom of the hill.
Pay for your parking using one of the pay machines - $3.80 per hour, using coins or card, and put the receipt on your dashboard.
Walk to John XXIII college: it's about 700m, a 7-10 minute walk:
Walk along the footpath down and out of the Botanic gardens (through the entrance gates) to the traffic lights at Clunies Ross St and Daley Rd.
At the traffic lights cross twice: cross Clunies Ross St and then Daley Rd, to get to the south-west side of Daley Rd.
Walk along the footpath beside Daley Rd to the south east, and then to the north east.
Cross Daley Rd at the pedestrian crossing near Ward Rd.
Continue along the footpath beside Daley Rd until you reach the chapel.
